La coupe n'est pas faite pour ceux qui ont un peu de fesse. Impossible de se faire rembourser même si non porté et étiquette encore dessus.. Je vais être obligé de les revendre sur amazone ou marketplace.
I took a chance purchasing these as a final sale and unfortunately I will have to find a new home for them. The quality is great, but the fit is awkward through the waist and length is lacking for me. Sadly the quest continues to find an insulated pant for winter outings.
If you can’t figure out how to make your cap durable, at least provide cost effective replacements! $20 for a plastic cap, which we have gone through several now. The smaller plastic cap top splits from the sides after a year of modern use.
The elastic waist doesn't fit. Measurements were taken, fairly fit man without too much extra at the waist, but this is loose and the elastic isn't pulling the slack.
I'm happy about my product, but the Green Carbon Neutral Shipment is stupid.
Nice look. Although, the thermometer shows a difference of 4 to 5oC compared to real temperature (even with adjustments made by moving it upward behind the metal case)
Makes it a lot easier to choose wax. Although guessing which temp wax I want to use along with the temperature recommendations I was never too far off, save a couple of slow ski days, this SWIX snow thermometer has so far hit things just about dead on. It seems a bit fragile so I take extra care to keep it safe. I definitely recommend it.
Though these are really well made, quality mitts they are certainly not at all for cold weather. Anything past -5C and they can't keep fingers warm. Good for the shoulder seasons perhaps but not made for Canadian winters.
So far everything seems to be working great. The only reason I gave it a four star is cause I have no idea how long it will last before things get bent and or the quick release stops working. Other than that, everything works great.
Although the quality of the pants is nice I was disappointed by the fit at the ankle. Typically ski pants are tapered down to the ankle where as these are quite wide and loose at the ankle (more so than shown in the photo). I bought these on Black Friday and did not realize they were final sale as I would have wanted to exchange them for something with a more tapered leg.
I've been looking for a new toque to wear cross-country skiing for the last two seasons, and I've finally found one.! I like the colours, (it is NOT black, white, or some shade of grey like SO many of the toques are), it fits (I wear a size 71/2 Stetson so most women's headwear is too small for me) AND it has a tassel. (which is required!) The built-in fleece headband will keep your ears and forehead warm if there's a wind, but I overall I don't think I'd find it warm enough if the temperature starts dropping closer to -20C.. If you're training and not stopping to chat, I think it would be great, but I tend to ski at a much more leisurely pace nowadays so I would probably grab one with a heavier knit. I would have given it a 5/5 if it was 100% wool,, but it's a wool/acrylic blend (as was stated in the description)
Not as warm as I thought, it is good in temperatures higher than -10°C. But below that temperature or with more wind I suggest putting in a liner.
Not as warm as I thought, probably due to a windy day and a lack of wind proof feature of the tights. Sizing is close to the body, not too tight.
These mitts are well made and have a leather underside. They are quite thin so not sure how they would fair in really cold weather. We ordered a size L men’s. It fits smaller than other brand Large size gloves. They just fit with no extra room. Hopefully over time the fit will relax a bit so it’s not so snug.
Really great jacket. Wore it on a day when blustery and cold with some freezing rain. Kept me dry and comfortable through run. Would buy other swix products in future
This glide wax is so easy to use & does an excellent job. The option for different temperatures is also great. Applicator works well & it polishes easily once applied. Good to take on the trail & can be applied with no fuss. I love this wax!
The material is soft & flexible & there are no movement restrictions while skiing. Very comfortable & I like the waist band requiring no belt. I only wish there were some options for a shorter leg. I find the length too long for the waist size.. A great deal when these pants go on sale.
Très jolie, très pratique pour le ski l’après ski. Mesurez vous, ca fit selon les mesures. Par ailleurs je l’ai payée à 50% rabais et c’est ce qu’Elly vaut. Je paierais jamais 200$ pour ca.
This woke environmental concern is garbage. The delivery service that dropped the product was no different than any other. Just 39 cents more.
I purchased this long vest in a slightly larger size. I still wear my other one but it is more snug. I do not cross country ski with this garment, instead I wear it all winter as a layer with a long sleeve top and leggings. Very well made and great design. One of my favourite garments in my closet! Highly recommend! Worth every penny!
