Terrible customer service, AVOID

Purchased this jacket in size small. Size chart was off and the jacket did not fit well. Also looked and felt cheap. Not even the color was not as expected. I initiated a return which involves so many ridiculous steps and an absurd turnaround time, it’s clear Swix wants to discourage returns. First, you initiate a return online. Then you wait for an ‘approval email’ which takes a couple of days. Then, you return the package at your own cost (minimum $25) and then you are required to email customer service the tracking number, which they do not acknowledge, nor do they acknowledge when the item is received. And then, you wait 15-20 BUSINESS DAYS for the refund. I cannot believe this is the process in 2025. So many better companies to purchase from I would absolutely avoid Swix in the future and will be telling all my xc friends. Too bad as I have some great pieces from years past.

We're sorry you found our return process long and you didn't find the Mayen Jacket to your satisfaction. I've looked for an order under your email address but I can't find one, but if you would like to give us your order number we can follow up further.

I do want to explain that our site is run by a small team here in Canada, so when you submit your return it's always validated by our team, and when it's sent back, it again must be opened and confirmed by our team. At certian times of the year, like the holidays during a wonderful snowy winter, like we're currently enjoying, sometimes our delay may be a little longer.

We do very much appriciate every order, and we're always working to do better, so I will reach out for more feedback from you privatly, but I do hope you'll be willing to shop with us again in the future.
