I have been looking for this exact combination. A very light top with a wind proof front and a breathable back like a cycling jacket. I run hot and usually end up taking off my wind top once warmed up but that wasn't necessary with this because of the venting through the front zipper and out the back which kept me dry and at a perfect temp. If you are looking for a warm top this isn't it but it does what it is designed to do perfectly. A simple garment with no need for arm pit venting zippers .The quality and attention to detail are seen in the cut and finish and little details like the inside front snap just below the chest that allows you to fully open your front zipper and the snap keeps the jacket in place and permits venting. Brilliant! I was lucky enough to get the jacket on sale and would definitely not hesitate to purchase another :)
