Waxing

T73 Sport waxing iron (SWT73D110-01) – $235 — A reliable iron for melting and spreading wax evenly across the base. Set it to the wax's recommended temperature and glide it on.

Plexi scraper, 5mm (SWT0825D-01) – $15 — Sharp and rigid for cutting through excess wax and levelling the base after cooling.

Scraper sharpener (SWT0408-01) – $60 — Keeps your scraper cutting clean. A sharp scraper means less effort and a smoother base.

Rectangular Medium Bronze brush (SWT0162B-01) – $60 — Opens up the base structure and removes leftover wax particles for maximum glide.

Rectangular Fine Blue Nylon brush (SWT0160B-01) – $55 — The finishing brush. Polishes the base and pulls out the last fine wax particles for a race-ready finish.

Fine Cut Racing Pro file (SWT104RSC-01) – $40 — Your finishing pass. Smooths and refines the edge after the 2nd cut.

Medium Economy diamond stone (SWTA400E-01) – $45 — Polishes the edge after filing and removes burrs for a clean, sharp finish.

Specifications
- How to use it:
- Mount up — Set your skis in the WC 3-piece vise and hook the brake retainers to keep brakes clear of your work.
- Set your angles — Fit the adjustable base edge file guide for your base edge, and the Phantom R side edge file guide for your side edge.
- File — Run the 2nd Cut Racing Pro file first to set the edge, then the Fine Cut Racing Pro file to refine it.
- Polish — Work the Medium Economy diamond stone along the edges to remove burrs and sharpen the finish.
- Detune — Lightly run the Soft Gummy stone over tips and tails for a smooth, predictable ride.
- Wax — Heat the T73 Sport iron to the wax's recommended setting, drip wax onto the base, and spread it evenly. Let it cool.
- Scrape — Use the plexi scraper to clear excess wax. Keep it sharp with the scraper sharpener.
- Brush — Start with the Medium Bronze brush to open the structure, then finish with the Fine Blue Nylon brush for a race-ready glide.
- Ride — Head to the start gate on sharp edges and a fast base.
